Come discover the delicious world of one of the world's most loved cheeses, Gouda! Originating in the Netherlands, but gracing cheeseboards across the globe, Gouda is a delightful and unique cheese with plenty of character.
What is a vertical tasting?
In the world of wine, a vertical tasting is simply trying several of the same wines from a variety of vintages. This is a great way to explore the way the aromas, flavours and structure of the wine changes with time. It’s the same with cheese! We’ll be sampling Gouda’s from a few months old up to three years. Discover how much this cheese changes from the younger, creamier examples, right up to the crunchy and complex profiles with several years of aging to them. Expect a variety of wine too as we pair them with a wide range of flavours and aromas!
