Events are fun, relaxed but packed full of cheese knowledge and history. Events take place in and around Málaga and further down the coast too.
I'm Vera and I'm a rather big fan of cheese. I have called Málaga home now for five years, but prior to my move to sunny Spain, I lived and worked in London for 13 years, where my love affair with the good stuff started. The journey into cheese begain when I started working part-time for the wonderful Tottenham based cheesemakers, Wilde's Cheese. After deciding that the queso life was really for me, I took on a full time role at Gringa Dairy as their assistant cheesemaker. Eventually I moved onto work for Buchanans Cheesemonger's in Central London, where I worked as their wholesale and cellar manager.
In Málaga, you can also catch me at wine events with Winederlust or eating my way around the city with Food Experience.
I currently hold a Level 2 Cheese Academy and am WSET Level 2 certified in wine.
